Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our supportive, dynamic, forward thinking team in Ophthalmology Outpatients. The successful candidate will need to develop a range of skills to enable them to cover all aspects of the care we provide to our patients, this includes: 1.0 Full time equivalent Ophthalmic Technician on 12 months fixed contract. This is just some examples of the variety of work required to help support our clinicians. Vision testing Supporting in an aseptic environment Using a variety of imagining equipment We are able to offer a comprehensive induction to ensure you are competent in undertaking the day to day tasks. The hours available are 37.5 hours per week 4 long days, the only stipulation is you will be required to work until 18:00 and 17:45 each day. You are expected to work at University Hospitals Dorset (Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and diagnostic hubs at Poole area ) So if you are a caring individual who is a good team player and is able to work in a fast paced environment this could be the role for you.
