Clinical Practice Educator Lead
2x 30 hours positions available working across four hour days.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic highly skilled and motivated Clinical Practice educator to join our team as a Lead here at the Great Western Hospital.
This will suit candidates who thrive in roles which include variety, complexity and challenges alongside opportunities for growth. You must be a Registered Nurse to apply for this role and have a vast amount of current experience within either a medical or surgical setting. Along side this you will require a proven track record of People management and an understanding Student Nursing Associate framework.
Main duties of the job
You are required to have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and will need to be a highly motivated, committed practitioner who is passionate about delivering high quality education and guidance within the ward environment. You will provide expert assistance, support and exercise accountability as set out in the NMC. The role will have a significant amount of innovation, quality improvement and pathway development

50% of your time will be spent working clinically and there maybe occasions where you will need to cover clinically in times of escalation.

5. Post-graduate degree level or equivalent
6. Teaching and assessing qualification (FLAP)
7. Leadership course
8. Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience at ward level

9. Further or higher Education Teaching Certificate or equivalent

10. Teaching/training adults formally and informally
11. Experience of working within the Acute setting
12. Experience of working within a leadership role
13. Knowledge around the SNA framework
14. People management experience and skills
