Finance Supervisor/Management Accountant | up to £48k

Our client, a Global leading organisation in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a talented individual to join their team based near Ashford. As the Finance Supervisor/Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in providing key reporting to business leaders and contributing to decision-making processes. Salary: £45,000 - £48,000
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Duration: 1 year Maternity contract
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of duties to support the Finance Manager. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Providing sales reporting, calculating commissions, and bonuses.
2. Ensuring accurate accounting entries and reporting on margins.
3. Analysing departmental spending against budgets and assisting with annual forecasting.
4. Posting journals at month-end and maintaining balance sheet account reconciliations.
5. Overseeing management accounts for the Dubai office and providing insightful commentary.
6. Supporting external audits and facilitating the provision of information to the audit team.
7. Managing company vehicles, insurance, and toll accounts.
8. Producing VAT returns and maintaining purchase ledger accuracy.
9. Fulfilling ad-hoc reporting requests from managers and business leaders.
10. Supervising a finance team of 3.
11. Providing holiday cover for the finance department.
As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following key skills:
1. Experience in Management Accounts
2. Experience supervising a finance team of 3 or more
3. Competent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
4. Strong organisational abilities and a high level of accuracy.
5. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
