We are part of h igh growth, innovative 6 th generation family business John Good Group, who over the past two years have undergone considerable transformation and growth, including multiple acquisitions in several sectors. Reporting into our COO, the successful candidate our new Travel Technology Director will ultimately be responsible for the successful operation of all technology across the Travel division. Some key aspects of the role will include: Be accountable for the development strategy of our in-house dev team and products we sell to our clients to ensure that they are on a relevant trajectory and offer value Responsible for the success of online booking tools and strategy, collaborating with the Supplier Relationship Director to ensure revenue management and relevant industry content are suitable. Ensure the product team builds, tests and delivers suitable solutions. Accountable for travel industry reservation tools supplied to our employees to make reservations on behalf of our clients Accountable for ensuring that the helpdesk manager and structure is in place, to support our clients and employees with every aspect of using our technology, ensure it is fully staffed and operating to an SLA and to a standard operating procedure. Ensure the successful implementation of our technology for new clients, from concept to delivery Be a key stakeholder in ensuring security and upholding operational standards to meet any accreditations we hold or aspire to hold such as Cyber Essentials Plus or ISO27001 Work closely with the IT team to meet the Travel Divisions evolving needs, ensuring IT contributes to its success. Motivating and empowering, and engaging direct reports.Undertaking check-ins, career conversations and putting development plans and KPIs in place. Ensure that our teams and Data Manager create accuracy of data as it moves through the reservation workflow and ultimately all the touch points on route into financial systems.Focus on the accuracy of data and look for opportunities to use emerging AI technologies or reporting tools to improve efficiencies or provide insights, helping our business and clients make informed decisions based on historical analysis or forecasting trends, spend and travel patterns.
