Who we are looking for:
Effectively manage customers by ensuring orders are processed within relevant timeframes and handle queries to a high level of customer service. Engage with our customers through monthly outbound telephone campaigns, gaining Voice of Customer feedback and promoting the company’s products. Communicate effectively with internal teams to provide a high level of customer service. Support the Team Leader as required including preparing quotations, supporting account credit and debit administration.
What you will do:
1. Use computerised systems (currently Infor and Salesforce) to process customer orders, check inventory and respond to customer issues (including debits and credits), capture customer interactions.
2. Process and progress orders through to dispatch.
3. Maintain telephone contact with customers, external sales teams, and transport companies to ensure a timely communication flow between all parties.
4. Respond to customer enquiries relating to stock, pricing and discount and provide 1st level technical support where possible.
5. Conduct outbound telephone activity to promote sales, including inactive accounts, Buying Groups under promotion, etc.
6. Provide the external sales team with information relating to quotations, customer accounts etc.
7. Organise transport for non-standard deliveries.
8. Ensure deliveries are progressed and any issues relating to delivery are dealt with efficiently, with the correct escalation where necessary.
9. Liaise with all departments on issues relating to product manufacture, assembly etc.
10. Provide general administrative duties to support the UK team as directed by Team leader.
11. Any other duties of a similar nature as required.
What you bring:
1. GCSE level or Equivalent
2. Computer literate – intermediate level or above in Word and Excel
3. Working knowledge of CRM systems e.g., Salesforce or Infor would be desirable.
4. Good telephone manner
5. Ability to build rapport with customers.
6. Office Administration
7. Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
8. Ability to prioritise own workload and manage own time commitments.
9. Willingness to go the ‘extra mile.’
