Main duties of the job You will ensure that a high-quality pharmacy service is provided to designated wards and departments at the Bury and Rochdale Care Organisations and take a lead role in developing and implementing medicines management systems within your areas of responsibility. You will work with the multidisciplinary Infection Prevention and Control team to promotes prudent use of antimicrobial agents in line with Trust strategy and policy and take a lead role in managing antimicrobial stewardship across the Care Organisations. In conjunction with senior pharmacy staff, you will co-ordinate, develop and participate in the clinical pharmacy service to relevant wards and undertake clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and teaching of medical and nursing staff.
