The Red Lion Tavern is in search of an Assistant Manager to join our team. We're looking for someone who is friendly, personable, and passionate about delivering exceptional food and drink experiences. The Role:
As an Assistant Manager, you'll be a hands-on, proactive leader who injects personality into your work and inspires the team to deliver warm and memorable guest experiences. You'll commit to the highest standards of service and operations, overseeing front-of-house performance, financials, recruitment, team development, stock management, and health & safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcome and attend to guests with exceptional care and service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
2. Train and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding service.
3. Ensure service steps are followed and maintained.
4. Conduct individual and team training sessions.
5. Maintain cleanliness standards and oversee opening/closing procedures.
6. Manage cash outs, complete checklists, and ensure adherence to company standards.
7. Oversee restaurant operations to ensure a smooth service.
8. Learn and understand all aspects of our business.
Requirements:

5. Experience with fresh, quality food & drink products.
6. Experience in managing payments, float, and weekly stock inventory.
