Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) is a local authority responsible for public services such as education, transport, planning, social care, trading standards, and waste management.
The Council is divided into four departments, with this role sitting in the Chief Executives. The Debt Recovery team is responsible for recovering over £200M+ of income due to the Authority. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for the collection of outstanding invoices raised by various teams throughout the authority, using various communication methods.

Requirements
* Educated to GCSE level (Grade C or above / 9 -4), or equivalent in Maths and English
* Good IT, communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
* Organised, with a positive and flexible approach to teamwork
* Able to work to deadlines, in a methodical manner
* An understanding of customer service and the importance of confidentiality and data security
Responsibilities
* Dealing with organisations and people to recover outstanding monies due to NCC
* Liaising with other services within NCC to resolve disputes
* Escalate cases where required
