Senior Claims Assessor
We are working with a well known Insurer who is looking for a talented Claims Assessor to join their team and play a crucial role in managing Life & Critical illness claims.
This is a remote job however will require the odd trip to the office, once every 1 or 2 months (This travel and accommodation can be expensed). However, training is all on site for the first 4-6 weeks. If you do not live close to the office then All expenses will be paid in full which includes travel and accommodation for the full first 6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing claims within the required service standards and in accordance with departmental objectives
* Operate within defined authority levels – Life Protection, Critical Illness and Disability benefits
* Handle and support complex customer and IFA enquiries, on the telephone and in writing
* Provide guidance to others in order to resolve queries using appropriate processes, systems and philosophy
* Produce accurate assessment of all claims using available records and systems and pursuits evidence in line with claims philosophy and practices
Qualifications and Skills:
* Claims Assessment experience across Life & Critical illness
* Excellent communication skills, confident speaking with vulnerable customers
