We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager who is passionate about delivering positive outcomes to join our Consult Health Team. While you will assist in the delivery of health projects, joining Mace is to join a company that believes in your individuality and potential, and we will support you in developing opportunities and building your career. We are actively seeking people with skills and experience of working in a healthcare delivery environment. We would also like to meet experienced project professionals who would like to move into the health sector as we can develop your skillset for this industry.

o You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
o You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
o Responsible for leading projects to deliver agreed outcomes and deliverables within time, cost, and quality requirements.
o Delivers internal fee expectations together with appropriate risk mitigation and change management.
o Collaborates with project team (client, design team and other consultants and contractors) and stakeholders, to manage project/s, technical services, and external resources across teams on behalf of the client organisation, to ensure the successful delivery of project/s in line with expectations.
o Manages intermediate level tasks and associated deliverables and/or supports the associate director with activities to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of project and program management operations.
o Produces design and authorities programme to be integrated with procurement and delivery programme.
o Delivers project objectives, leads, and manages the project team/s and stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Actively adheres to appropriate Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards aspects across the project lifecycle.
o Prepares and modifies project plans and updates and ensures relevance over the project/s lifecycle.
o Oversees project timeframes, ensuring the success of delivery of programmes, highlighting risks, challenges, and mitigations, managing project budgets, aligned to plan/agreed returns.
o Partners with stakeholders and actively manages risk management and mitigation treatments.
o Ensures all approved handover documentation is coordinated and provided prior to practical completion.
o Promotes and drives the business priorities through Construction to Production, Digital & Data, and responsible business practices.
o Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to have:
* Experience in the successful delivery phase of construction projects in the healthcare sector.
* Proven experience in project management, managing small to medium, and large sized projects.
* Developed communication, presentation and project planning and development skills.
* Advanced proficiency in communicating, coordinating activities, and collaborating with stakeholders.
* Proven understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
* Proactively manage internal budgets and fees, delivering agreed outcomes.
* Proven competency that understands construction methodologies and sequencing.
* Sound technical expertise in Health and Safety Executive (HSE) rules and specific sector/market regulations relevant to the project portfolio.
* Knowledge of consultancy, construction, infrastructure and property sectors/markets.
* Good interpersonal skills to prepare reports, negotiate and build relationships with key stakeholders.
* Substantial previous work experience in project management (or equivalent).
* Tertiary qualifications in related (project management and/or construction related discipline), non-related degree or equivalent professional experience/apprenticeship.
* Appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
You'll also have:
* Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
* Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
* Commercial and financial acumen.
* Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
* Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
