Title – Commercial Director – Motor Finance
My client is a car finance lender offering Hire Purchase and Personal Contract Purchase car finance, they are looking for a Commercial Director to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
* Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities and market trends.
* Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and optimise sales performance.
* Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
* Collaborate with finance to manage budgets and financial performance.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Provide regular reports on sales and marketing performance to the executive team.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* 10+ years of proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role, demonstrating a successful track record of driving revenue growth.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* In-depth understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
* Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and analysing financial performance.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate complex challenges and make informed choices.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Leadership: Proven track record of leading and inspiring teams to achieve exceptional results.
* Sales & Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of sales processes, marketing techniques, and customer relationship management.
