I am recruiting a CARING and PASSIONATE Service Manager to oversee a service for care leavers located in Colwyn Bay thats supports young people between 16 - 25. The service is looking for experienced leaders who have experience managing either as a manager or deputy manager in a similar setting. Oversee all aspects of the operation of the home including staffing, compliance and health and safety. Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring that each resident is treated with compassion, empathy, and understanding. Conduct regular reviews of resident's needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Keep abreast of developments in care practices, legislation, and regulations, and ensure that the home operates in compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines. Requirements for the Service Manager: NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management Proven experience in a managerial role within a care leavers setting, with a strong understanding of the complexities and challenges associated. Excellent leadership and communication skills Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices governing mental health care, CIW standards. A compassionate and person-centered approach to care. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
