Working Hours
Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday inclusive. The postholder is required to work such hours as are necessary in order to satisfactorily perform the role.
Main Purpose of Job
Leading investigations into non-conformance and customer complaints, establishing root cause and appropriate corrective actions. Perform internal and external audits of our business and sub-contract base and ensure all findings are addressed and closed out.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities
1. Leading investigations into non-conformance and customer complaints, establishing root cause and appropriate corrective actions.
2. Perform internal and external audits of our business and sub-contract base and ensure all findings are addressed and closed out in a timely manner.
3. Ensuring the calibration of all dimensional and furnace equipment on site.
4. Ensuring that all site furnace checks are completed, including verification of Temperature Uniformity Surveys.
5. Day-to-day customer contact for technical/quality issues.
6. Working with Laboratory staff to ensure compliance with ISO17025 and other customer requirements.
7. Promoting quality performance improvements throughout the organisation.
8. Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
9. Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
10. Ensuring that site quality documentation and training records are completed and maintained.
11. Actively pursue cost reduction opportunities through refinement of methods and increased process capability.
12. Use of internal non conformance database to analyse trends and liaise with the continuous improvement team to implement improvement activates.
