What we can offer you; 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays Access to our company pension scheme Free physiotherapy service Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing; Receive, inspect, sample, classify, and label packaged waste materials Collaborate with 'Day Team' operators to ensure correct storage and segregation of materials Produce waste processing menus to meet plant processing and emission limits Manage stock inventory using the HazMat system Perform weekly stock take of waste inventory and supervise management of storage areas Liaise with Commercial team to optimize plant intake Identify and report non-conforming loads using site reporting systems Advise on PPE and safe handling of packaged wastes Sample and compatibility test drummed liquid materials before authorizing bulking operations Serve as a Radiation Protection Supervisor, responsible for site monitoring and radiation-related issues Participate in safety initiatives, procedure reviews, and risk assessments while managing workload to meet production targets and maintain storage capacity What we're looking for; Relevant degree / HNC Experience working within the waste management industry or related field Good organisational and communication skills Knowledge and experience of working within the requirements of a top tier COMAH site Proven abilities in waste categorisation Knowledge of ADR, COSHH, COMAH, HSG 71 & IRR2017 regulations What's next?
