Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum plus bonus and company car

Our client has built a reputation as one of the UK’s largest independent commercial vehicle sales, service & solution providers and is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.
This role will centre around the development of trade accounts for aftermarket parts for many commercial van and truck manufacturers, including DAF, Man, Mercedes, Renault, Scania, and Volvo. This is a field-based role with a territory of Leicestershire, east to Peterborough.

The Role:
* Dealing with customers promptly and exceeding customer expectations both face-to-face and via the telephone.
* Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively to achieve targets in a timely and efficient manner.
* Development of increasing both the sales and recognition of the brand in the respective areas covered.
* Sets high standards for self and others; works effectively in partnership with all colleagues; supports actions that secure achievements of the team objectives.
* Excellent organisational skills in a customer service environment.
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Prior knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly commercial vehicles.
* Good understanding of the sales process and success in closing sales.
* Computer literate (Word, Excel, CRM, and Outlook).
* Strives to ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
* Full UK driving licence.
