A bit about the role
Our Residential Night Support Worker role is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience in a care setting who are looking to advance their careers. You'll manage risk in a way that empowers young people and builds resilience while ensuring their safety during night hours. Demonstrating a high standard of person-centred practice, you'll embody strong social care values and be a positive role model for our children and young people.
In return, we offer amazing opportunities for career progression within our organisation. We provide an in-depth induction process and training, and we'll enrol you in the necessary qualifications for the industry. Regular supervision with your line manager and team meetings will ensure you feel part of our team. Once you've gained the relevant experience and qualifications, you'll be ready to take the next step in your career with us.
Castlelaw Cottage is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for a young girl with a learning disability and ASD. Our newly renovated house is designed to support her in leading a fulfilling and active life, both at home and in the community. We appreciate her unique personality and strive to create a space where she can thrive and receive the support she needs. She loves the outdoors, especially local walks in the woods, regardless of the weather! At home, a range of activities will be planned to provide engagement, physical activity, and meet sensory needs. She also enjoys regular visits from her parents, which may include walks and dining out.
How you'll help to create brighter futures

* Co-ordinating responsibilities within the service, with multi-agency and producing family information, including analysis and written reports.
* Helping young people in all aspects of their daily lives at night.
* Having good communication skills and the ability to engage well with both young people, colleagues and other professionals at night.
