We are seeking a highly motivated, personable, and well organised Health & Safety Administrator to join the Facilities Team in providing administrative support to our Health & Safety Advisor.
About the role
The main purpose of the role is to provide a compliance based administrative service to the Health & Safety Advisor.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly individual to join our busy department. The successful applicant will have the ability to confidently work on their own, liaise with a variety of different stakeholders and have proven administrative skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial to this role, although training will be provided.
15 Hours per week / 52-week contract
Hours to be worked Tuesday to Friday (flexible)
Salary: Grade 3 Spine Point 10 £22,507.70 FTE (actual salary: £11,488.10)
Contract type: Permanent
Interviews will be held on 19 August 2024.
You will be responsible for
* Providing a compliance focused administrative service to the H&S Advisor.
* Monitoring the HSDC Health and Safety training log and matrix, keeping it current and issuing training modules when required.
* Supporting the Health and Safety Adviser with general health and safety administration.
* Dealing discretely and tactfully with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature and maintaining the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
* Supporting the management of compliance records, report filing, scanning, and generating action reports.
You will need
* Experience of working with Computer Aided Facilities Management systems.
* Previous administrative experience in a busy environment.
* Level 2 or above in English & Maths.
* Level 2 or above in Health & Safety.
* Experience in auditing.
