As our Finance Assistant, you'll provide essential support to the Financial Accountant and the wider finance team, helping the Group meet its daily financial responsibilities within our Technical pillar. You'll engage with various departments, notably our Managed Service and Homeowner Account Management teams, providing valuable support on numerous financial tasks. As part of your everyday role, you're likely to be involved in the following: Ensuring day-to-day finance activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Supporting with preparation of Monthly Management accounts to include all relevant schedules and reconciliations. Preparing Managed Service P&Ls for circulation to stakeholders. Assisting with preparing for the year-end audit, compiling and verifying information to ensure smooth completion of reports. Responding accurately and promptly to stakeholder enquiries by phone or email. Carrying out routine administration to support a smoothly operating finance department. Working closely with all departments to support staff by providing finance tasks or systems training within your capabilities. Maintaining and proactively developing your understanding of finance industry updates, suggesting improvements as necessary. Managing and promoting a positive image of the finance department by providing excellent support and service and building strong working relationships with colleagues. Upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in handling all tasks. Taking on additional tasks within your skills and abilities when reasonably asked. What are we looking for?
