* Hold a UK pharmacy qualification with extensive experience in a senior leadership role, managing large teams and overseeing operations within private practice or the NHS.
* Exceptional communicator with drive and enthusiasm.

* Possess a strong commercial acumen with a passion for business growth, while effectively overseeing operational functions.

The role.
* Take full responsibility for the management of multiple pharmacies, ensuring high standards of service and operations.
* Lead and manage a large, diverse team, fostering a strong sense of team spirit, engagement, and a shared passion for delivering excellent patient care while cultivating a culture of excellence.
* Oversee operations with a focus on leveraging available resources to improve efficiency, enhance quality, and ensure timely delivery of services.
* Ensure full regulatory compliance and risk management, maintaining and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), preparing for inspections, and managing internal audits effectively.
* Manage and optimise all pharmacy processes, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to best practices.
* Supervise and administer the Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA) in collaboration with the outsourced Responsible Person.
* Implement quality assurance and control measures, setting and driving high standards, and consistently meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Ensure that all team members, including customer-facing staff, receive the necessary training to maintain compliance and uphold high levels of competence.
* Stay informed on the latest regulations, market trends, competitor activity, and updates on ingredients and products to ensure a competitive edge.
* Understand and manage the supply chain, holding suppliers to the highest quality standards and ensuring timely deliveries.
* Oversee stock management, minimising shortages and optimising inventory levels to meet demand.
* Lead the implementation of new products, ensuring the team is thoroughly trained on formulation, product features, and processes.
