Lockesleys Electrical Services are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm & Security Engineer to carry out regular servicing, reactive maintenance, commissioning, small works and repairs of various fire detection & fire alarm systems, security systems, emergency lighting and other associated systems along with completing and submitting all relevant documentation. Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential.
The ideal candidate will be based in and around London, working at multiple locations conducting an array of different works.
The successful Security Engineer will have at least two years’ experience installing fire safety and electronic security systems, ideally with a BAFE, NSI or SSAIB approved company. Experience in an Installation Engineer role is essential.
The successful candidate must have a good understanding of installation, service, maintenance and fault-finding on fire alarms. Additional knowledge on door entry, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems would be helpful.
As a representative of our company, you would be expected to carry out a range of activities, including design, installation, commissioning of new installations, planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and small works of fire alarm installations.
Fire Alarm Engineer Requirements:
* Experience working on fire alarm systems
* Experienced with wireless systems
* Knowledge of various manufacturers such as EMS, EDA, Notifier, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Apex, Gent
* Experience working in commercial environments
Fire Engineer Duties Include:
* Completing the repairs, maintenance, installations & commissioning of fire alarm systems
* Working in retail, industrial & commercial environments
* Be able to read & understand drawings & instruct the end-user on how to use the product once the job is completed
* Coaching other team members
* This role may involve running a department further down the line
* Working in a new department, both independently and as a team

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
