What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the post of Art Technician to start as soon as possible. This important role involves assisting with the co-ordination of resources and facilities to meet the practical needs of the Art curriculum.
The successful applicant will possess a genuine interest in the subject. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but more important is a willingness to learn and train on the job. Applicants should have effective communication skills and be self-confident in dealing with young people.
The role will require you
• To be on hand to support the teacher with class practical work
• To prepare resources for teaching staff
• To maintain stock levels of materials and consumables
• To maintain all department equipment, tools and materials
• To manage student payments for materials, equipment and folders.
