The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to a diverse patient base. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide comprehensive dental care, including routine check-ups, restorations, extractions, and other necessary dental procedures. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' dental needs, ensuring high standards of care. Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant dental regulations, guidelines, and protocols, maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. Collaboration: Work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of the practice. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous education and professional development. Requirements: Qualification: BDS or equivalent dental degree. Registration: Must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and have an active NHS performer number. Experience: Previous experience in general dentistry preferred, but newly qualified dentists are welcome to apply. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
