The Planning Business Director is tasked with building trust and exerting influence by fostering deeper, more strategic relationships with clients and by driving, leading, and owning the campaign delivery process. In this role, you'll lead a team of media planners, from Executive to Director level, actively supporting their goals, incorporating their feedback, and guiding their professional development, while ensuring that their work meets established expectations., What you'll be doing:
* Lead and oversee outputs from both yourself and your direct reports, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of all documents and projects.
* Implement the global strategy at the EMEA level, coordinating local markets to align with the overarching vision and taking full ownership of client accounts.
* Serve as the primary contact for senior clients, consistently meeting or exceeding their expectations, and leading high-level presentations to build confidence in our work.
* Lead and execute cross-channel media recommendations, driven by insights and data, to provide clear and effective solutions.
* Ensure account profitability by managing financial aspects such as reconciliations, payments, and financial tracking, while meeting agreed margin targets.
* Support and develop team members (AD, AM, AE), and plan resources effectively to meet team objectives and achieve optimal results.
* Identify and address potential bottlenecks, maintain strong relationships with external agencies and internal teams, and continuously seek improvements in workflows and relationships.
An established Business Director with Media agency experience
* Experience in leading large multi-market client relationships and marketing campaigns on fast moving accounts.
* Ability to navigate and understand both granular technical detail and big-picture narratives depending on the situation.
* A passion for all things digital combined with a drive to stay up to date on the latest industry trends and news.
* A belief in open, candid, and honest communication at all times, both internally and with clients.
