Whether you've worked on commercial vehicles, emergency roadside repairs, plant machinery, or mobile equipment, this role offers an exciting mix of hands-on technical work and travel.ISQ Recruitment is seeking Field Service Technicians with an electrical bias to join an innovative and growing business based in Norfolk. This role offers a mix of workshop-based work and on-the-road service support across the UK and internationally.The Role:
You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, working both in the workshop and at customer sites. The job involves troubleshooting faults, carrying out repairs in the field, and ensuring all work meets high standards.Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and service electrical components in vehicles, mobile equipment, or machinery.
Carry out on-site installations, fault finding, and maintenance.
Work on high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems.
Assemble and fit HVAC and cooling circuits.
Fabricate brackets and route cables/hoses as required.
Conduct electrical testing using insulation resistance testers, OHM meters, and crimp tools.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations.
Provide technical support and training to customers or colleagues when required.
What We're Looking For:Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Roadside Technician, or Maintenance Technician working on vehicles, plant machinery, or electrical equipment.
Strong electrical knowledge with experience in wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Confident using hand and power tools for electrical and mechanical tasks.
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment and manage your own workload.
Full UK driving licence (Cat D or Cat C2 licences desirable but not essential).
Own transport required due to the workshop location.
Desirable Qualifications:IMI accreditation or vehicle maintenance qualification.
IMI award in electric/hybrid vehicle awareness.
First Aid and Fire Warden training.
