To be the autonomous lead professional responsible for assessing and providing total midwifery care to mothers and babies throughout normal pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period without direct supervision.
To be experts in the field of midwifery.
To be responsible for identifying deviations from the “norm” and referring to other appropriate health care professionals.
To provide midwifery care to mothers and babies throughout pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period under the guidance of other health care professionals where it has been assessed that there has been a deviation from the “norm”.
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Bank Band 6 Midwife to join the team. A variety of hours are available.
The successful candidate will be involved in delivering a high standard of evidence-based care during the Antenatal, Intrapartum and postnatal period and will work alongside other members of the Midwifery Multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent expert care for women and their families.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
