You will be working with our large Theatres teams providing specialist care throughout the patients perioperative journey, and will be responsible for preparing each surgical anaesthetic procedure and all of the necessary anaesthetic equipment in readiness for an all types of anaesthetic and recovery of a patient. Essential to role: Registered Nurse (NMC) / Registered OperatingDepartment Practitioner (HCPC). Ability to assess, plan and evaluate patient care. Organisational and leadership skills. Flexibility in being able to provide service cover during nights / weekends / on call as required. Highly developed physical/clinical skills where accuracy is important. Manual dexterity for setting up equipment and safe use of medical devices. Moving and manual handling of patients and equipment. Counselling/supporting staff/patients/relatives.
