Our lovely Nursery in Bathgate are now looking for an experienced nursery practitioner to join their team. Working a 38 hour week, monday to friday, salary is up to £28,513 depending on qualifications and experience, with loads of great benefits
The Big Bird Nursery is a member of the CC Nurseries Group, offering 79 places and situated in the centre of the Whitburn community. Guided by a dedicated and compassionate team, the nursery is equipped with natural resources that promote independent play and exploration. Requirements
As an Early Years Practitioner you will:
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always
Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the Curriculum for Excellence are met
At least 1 year' experience of working in a Nursery
