About the Role: As the Junior IT Technician, you will support the IT department in delivery of an effective and efficient service to Savanta UK. Day-to-day, your responsibilities are: Being the first in line to pick up IT tickets that you can resolve and escalate any that you can't handle Troubleshooting and solving user support issues – software and hardware Configuration, deployment and maintenance of laptops, mobile, etc. Helping to ensure our devices are properly maintained and that all logs are checked as part of our health checks Updating and helping keep track of our asset register Monitoring server logs and reports and identifying potential risks Training on Azure/O365 and other relevant tools will be provided. About You: Providing an exceptional service and going the extra mile for our colleagues is in our DNA. With exposure to multiple functions in a fast-paced, growing business, this role is ideally suited to a diligent and outgoing individual with a hunger for continuous learning and improvement. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate: Basic knowledge of IT – we are looking for someone who has a passion in this area A focus on security and user experience Positive, supportive attitude and strong customer service skills Polite and friendly manner, both written and spoken Integrity, honesty, and transparency in all actions A proactive approach to adding value and improving efficiency Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn A degree in Computer Science or MCP certification is desirable but not essential.
