Role Summary
As the Transformation Communications Manager, you will support the Transformation Communications and Change Lead with planning and execution of Transformation communications. This role involves day-to-day liaison with KDN Leaders. All outputs and outcomes must be to the highest standard, and the successful candidate will need to display exceptional communication and influencing skills, as well as a keen sense of business acumen and professional judgment.
In your role, you will help shape communications to drive change adoption and efficiency, minimize disruptions and optimize outcomes during the transition period. You will provide SME guidance to project managers and teams while managing stakeholder relationships and change throughout the transition.
How you will make your mark
1. Work closely with the Transformation Communications and Change Lead to develop and execute project and programme communication plans.
2. Present KPMG and KDN change strategy/reports/findings to senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and impact skills and commercial understanding.
3. Work with all KDN functions to ensure a joined up and integrated approach to communications.
4. Champion the use of new, innovative ways of communicating with stakeholders and staff.
5. Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
6. Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work challenging hours to accommodate the schedule of a global team.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, Operations, and Legal.
8. Manage multiple projects or programs, either as a sole contributor or as part of a team of professionals.
9. Operationalize knowledge of transformation communications best practices, employing them consistently.
10. Chart communications delivery timelines, milestones, and deliverables to track progress and ensure timely completion.
11. Coordinate closely with relevant teams to ensure alignment of communications and to minimize disruptions to ongoing operations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Communicate and manage expectations effectively to ensure understanding and buy-in from all affected parties.
2. Act as the primary point of contact for all project communications related activities for internal and external stakeholders throughout the transition process.
3. Maintain open lines of communication and provide regular updates on transition progress.
4. Gather feedback and address concerns to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
This is the job for you if you have
1. A Bachelor’s degree in communications, relevant professional industry qualification and relevant industry experience.
2. Significant communications experience with demonstrable experience in internal communications.
3. Strong experience supporting communications for significant projects/programs.
4. Proven knowledge of implementing communications and change management programs.
5. Strong influencing and communication skills to act professionally, calmly and persuasively.
6. Proven project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects.
7. Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to grasp business objectives.
8. Demonstrated excellence in cross-functional communication.
9. Proven ability to create, engage and maintain a strong professional network.
10. Enjoy delivering as part of a team.
11. The ability to make quick, sound decisions and work in an agile way.
12. Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
