This is a role as a Food and Beverage Team Member at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. You will be responsible for supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals, ensuring a high standard of service and cleanliness. The position offers part-time hours of 10am to 2pm, three days a week, with a competitive hourly rate of £12.25.
Main duties of the job
As a Food and Beverage Team Member, your focus will be to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. This will involve supporting residents with choosing their meal options, ensuring the dining tables are set to the standard operating procedures, keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented, and replenishing fresh cakes, biscuits, finger food, and fruit throughout the day. You will also need to be aware of residents' dietary requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar setting, such as a restaurant or hotel, and possess a basic food hygiene certificate. Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary services to residents are essential.

Job responsibilities
Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
* Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
* Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
* Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
* Being aware of residents dietary requirements.
