The post holder will assist the team in ensuring the effective running of the clinics. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients and always working in a manner that promote dignity and human rights through the adoption of person centered care principles to provide high quality evidence based, patient centered care using specific knowledge and skills. To teach, assess, supervise and mentor new and junior staff and students. To provide and maintain a high standard of care for patients attending royal eye unit outpatient department.

We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic nurse that is passionate about ophthalmology and willing to support its growth. The successful applicant would be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the department to achieve high standards of care. We rely on good team work, excellent communication and interpersonal skills for excellent care.
Our busy department includes - Eye Casualty, Pre-operative assessment, AMD, glaucoma and other ophthalmic sub-specialties services and clinics and you would be expected to rotate throughout each area.
Knowledge and experience working on Ophthalmology outpatient setting is desirable for this post.
