Business Analyst (DV Cleared)

We are seeking two experienced Business Analysts to join a Secure Government Body for a 24 month engagement. Business analysts are the drivers of continued growth and success. With commitment to innovation, the Business analysts seek, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity at Telent.
Your role will be to report on business, operational and functional processes and activities, to support business transformation and business as usual activities, plus making informed recommendations for improvements. Your role will also be to develop strong understanding of the business and its operational requirements to advise the business area and department / functions or project teams on best practices.
Reporting to the Manager of designated business support function, you will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting the business area and departments / functions across related business areas.
Key Deliverables:
1. Creation and consolidation of designated business reporting.
2. Maintaining and developing data and information quality and storage (E.g., Oracle ERP, Salesforce CRM, SharePoint and other M365 applications).
3. Maintaining and developing process maps for business requirements and process documentation.
4. Documenting procedures and developing new process designs with stakeholders for approval.
5. Supporting the designated business Leadership Team with their business improvement programmes and delivery of the overall objectives of the business.
6. Partnering with stakeholders across business units / departments / functions / project teams to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and senior teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners and respond to questions and concerns from managers with supporting research and recommendations.
2. Analyse data and processes as required.
3. Gather, identify and document business requirements.
4. Business process modelling and improving business processes.
5. Identifying costs and business savings.
6. Implementing, testing and deploying solutions to business problems.
7. Supporting business transition and helping to establish change.
8. Act as a waste champion (Lean efficiency: Tim Woods) and both identify and develop a case for business improvement programmes.
9. Act as an advisor to senior managers and teams.
Qualifications / Skill Requirements:
1. Strong organisational skills and demonstrable experience of achieving challenging deadlines.
2. Excellent communication skills, including active listening to elicit requirements and presentation skills to explain solutions.
3. Ability to work to deadlines with a high attention to detail.
4. Ability to work and communicate with a diverse and distributed team plus internal and external colleagues and customers.
5. Ability to write clear requirements specifications and business cases, in particular possess a good sense of logical structure and sequencing of deliverables.
6. Experience of Microsoft 365 applications.
7. Experience of databases and reporting tools.
8. Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
9. An understanding of how business processes operate.
10. Ability to maintain an active interest in keeping an up to date knowledge and best practice.
Desirables (Nice to haves):
1. Previous experience of business and / or data analysis associated with improving systems and processes.
2. Demonstrable intellectual capacity and desire to develop and deliver simple solutions to complex challenges.
3. Knowledge of the standards and processes applicable to the business area.
4. Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio.
5. Proven ability to manage projects.
6. Qualified or working towards International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Entry Certificate in Business Analysis or equivalent certification.
7. Degree in a subject such as Business Studies, Business Administration / Management or equivalent experience.
