REGISTERED MANAGER Our client, a Franchise of a fast growing national group, is seeking a full-time Registered Care Manager to join their Domiciliary care service in Watford. Based at the Watford office and covering the surrounding areas, the Registered Care Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the branch, providing strong management and leadership to all staff as well as growing the business alongside the owner while maintaining CQC standards at all times. Duties and Responsibilities: Day-to-day operations of the business and ensuring all CQC regulations are met for safe and effective home care services to clients and To be responsible for client safety and commitment to safeguarding of vulnerable adults Provide any and all reports on the business as required Managing all new staff onboarding with DBS checks, Right To Work checks and regulatory compliance is done for all staff Ensuring the care levels provided meet the client expectations and needs Ensuring all training is monitored in line with CQC care regulations Staff performance management including staff appraisals, regular supervisory meetings and spot checks Maintaining accurate records and files of care workers and Clients To identify opportunities for growth within the business through establishing business relationships, working alongside the Director Budgets and finance and business development Recruitment and onboarding of all staff Ensure all CQC preparation and inspections are performed to the best standards Ensuring all emergency on-call issues are dealt with, such as covering calls directly in extreme circumstances or securing and allocating new staff when carers are absent or ill Attending external meetings and assisting the franchise owners in the growth and development of the business Experience and Skills required: A candidate who possesses the knowledge to ‘hit the ground’ running in the business with the Franchise owner immediately Experience of working as a Registered Manager in a Domiciliary Care environment and knowledge of care service growth strategy Professional with excellent time management and reliability skills and also the ability to be flexible with work schedule Experience in risk assessments for care services and individual care and support and knowledge of confidentiality, health and safety and abuse matters and safeguarding procedures Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills as well as strategy and implementation skills Experience in staff management - recruiting, training, supporting and supervising Excellent knowledge of CQC preparation and inspections Previously have maintained clear and accurate records and followed statutory reporting and procedures to CQC Standards Good understanding of regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and all Domiciliary Care law NVQ 5 Social Care Qualification A satisfactory DBS check, full UK driving licence and own vehicle as well as the above necessary qualifications will secure this role. Start date – as soon as possible Salary - £35000 - £40000, dependent on experience Pension 28 days holidays per year incl bank holidays
