About the Role We are excited to announce an opening for a new Despatch Team Member to join our busy and friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the picking and packing of finished goods for despatch, while ensuring all packing is of standard that will allow goods to arrive safely. Key responsibilities will include: Picking and packing of good for Despatch, ensuring all packages are of sufficient quality to arrive safely at their destination Pallet wrapping when required Provision of accurate weights and dimensions for despatch Loading collections, including use of fork-lift (once license is obtained), and ensuring all collections are correctly labelled, given to the drivers, and all paperwork signed for Stock location of finished parts from production to shelf and stock rotation Assist with the yearly stock take when required Stock re-location to shelf Stores housekeeping & security Control of traceability system Despatch desk and liaising with office if required. Conduct regular cycle counts. The Candidate We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a busy working environment. The ideal candidate will have: Experience of working within a warehouse environment Picking and packing experience Computer literate to a basic level of excel Good verbal communication Good level of numeracy. Quality focused with good attention to detail and excellent accuracy. Organised and efficient.
