Main activities
1. Anticipate operational constraints to and prepare HPT loop design, HVAC activities.
2. Deal with mechanical issues linked with installation.
3. Go beyond pure design conformity review and develop extensiveness of the review through a practical vision (by developing a database for example).
4. Help, if necessary, on the other subjects of the construction scope.
5. Along with the services provided to the Client, develop knowledge on EPR erection activities, and feedback with OPEX in view of future projects.
6. Optimize the preparation of HVAC activities and secure the respect of technical/safety requirements.
7. Ensure the reliability/reduction of open points and identify associated weaknesses to limit the occurrence of issues and ultimately reduce schedule impacts and costs.
8. Review surveillance plans in accordance with policy and project documentation.
9. Manage the supervision of the installation and ensure compliance with UK regulations.
10. Monitor progress on technical documentation approval status and prioritize work based on this.
11. Engage with stakeholders to support delivery of activities and ensure compliance with UK regulations.
12. Ensure that project policies, processes, and contracts are implemented and delivered to the right quality.
13. Coordinate and support the conformity assessment process.
14. Provide periodic progress reports.
15. Develop strong working relationships with regulators and the supply chain.
16. Advise projects and programmes on technical requirements and act as the technical decision maker.
Qualifications and Experience
Key skills:
1. A degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. A background in the preparation and realization of HVAC activities tests.
3. A strong technical interest, particularly in the field of construction or maintenance of industrial installations, is required for this position.
4. A mastery of computer tools is essential: manipulation of massive data under Excel, ability to evolve in CAD/CAD environments, 3D model, 3D viewer.
Experience:
1. At least 5 years of experience in equivalent missions.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Able to work autonomously.
4. Ability to translate field operational experience and integrate OPEX.
5. Experience in nuclear would be an advantage.
Languages (level):
Fluent English required: writing technical documents and daily exchanges in English. French language skills would be an advantage.
