To undertake psychological assessments of clients referred to the Team, and assist in the analysis and interpretation of data from various sources e.g. psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect observation, interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the clients care.
To contribute to risk assessment and formulations of risk management plans.
To assist qualified therapy staff in the delivery of specialist psychological interventions with older people with complex acute or chronic cognitive and mental health problems, including work with individuals, couples, families and carers.
To contribute to the development of standardised psychological intervention packages which can be implemented by other members of the team within a stepped care model.
