Role: Client Accountant

You will have responsibility for accounts preparation, preparation of the monthly management accounts, and reconciling the bank accounts
This opportunity requires a confident accountancy professional to work in cross-collaboration with different departments
Our client is ideally looking for someone with 3 years' experience in a similar role who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to thrive within a high-profile role.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing and reconciliation of bank accounts
Invoicing and processing of invoices
Support with VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations
Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding for property-related expenses
Liaise with internal managers and other departments to ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly
Reconciling petty cash
Administration of payments to suppliers and staff
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, including trial balance, profit & loss and balance sheet
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and asset registers
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the firm's portfolios
Handle tenant rent payments, reconciliations, and arrears management
Support in the preparation of service charge accounts
Ensuring clear audit trail and liaising with accountants where required
Processing of monthly payroll and associated PAYE Experience:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Full working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting and payroll software
Good Excel skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
