Most students have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). We Are Looking For: An enthusiastic individual to assist in delivering agreed learning activities and support pupil engagement across various classroom settings, including one-on-one interactions as needed. As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school's mission and values. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Classroom Teachers and the Senior Leadership Team. Understand how a pupil's learning is influenced by their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development, and recognise the stages of child development. Utilise ICT effectively for both classroom activities and administrative tasks. Provide encouragement and support to children and young people. Challenge and motivate pupils, boosting their self-esteem and confidence. Assist in marking pupils' work and accurately recording their achievements and progress. Encourage children to value their experiences and knowledge. Stay informed and updated on the school's policies, including Health and Safety and Child Protection.
