Kentec are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality professional based at our manufacturing facility in Dartford. In this role you will be reporting to the Compliance Director and will be championing quality throughout the business and be responsible for the management and strategic development of the Quality Management Systems. You will head up a small team and work closely with internal stakeholders at all levels to promote quality best practices, continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. Role Responsibility · Manage and motivate the Quality team to develop, control and improve quality processes in line with the company’s policies, objectives and procedures. · Monitor and report on compliance of quality systems to current legislation and system certification. · Drive positive behaviours and culture within the business by promoting quality best practice and delivering continuous improvement. · Provide quality support across all functions of the business and act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. · To head up the company’s continuous improvement program and ensure appropriate resources are provided and managed to maintain the highest standard of design and build quality, excellent customer service and to support a compliant business. · Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of quality and product standards and the relevance to business objectives. · Provide single point of focus for internal investigation of major complaints, incidents, and non-compliances. Ensure that major issues are thoroughly investigated, and robust corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner. The Ideal Candidate · Degree qualified with over 5 years’ experience in a senior quality role within a highly regulated manufacturing / engineering industry. · Robust knowledge and understanding of quality legislation & best practices · Strong people management skills · Excellent IT skills across Microsoft Office · Good communication and presentation skills. · Team Player.
