Part - Qualified Accountant
Our client is a leading, successful, and well-established firm of accountants. Due to their continued growth and development, they are seeking to employ a Part Qualified Accountant for their Kings Lynn office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly professional, friendly, and dedicated team.
Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm

Responsibilities:
1. Deal with one or more client assignments simultaneously and bring them to completion for review by a senior accountant or director.
2. Effectively document work.
3. Identify project issues as well as project progress in a timely and organised manner.
4. Build working relationships at peer client level and gain knowledge of your clients' businesses.
5. Demonstrate an active interest in the business world by keeping abreast of market trends and business developments.
6. Develop technical skills both on the job and through formal learning channels.
7. Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
8. Work effectively and professionally in the office and at client premises.
9. Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
Assignments/Projects:
1. Accounts preparation for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and charities.
2. Preparation of corporation tax returns.
3. Supporting clients in accounting and taxation issues.
4. Assisting with audit assignments.
5. Preparation of management accounts including the preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasts.
6. Bookkeeping for clients and preparation of related VAT returns.
7. Working as part of a team to carry out additional client and in-house projects as required.
8. Assisting clients with systems development and improvements.
Person Specification:
Qualifications/Knowledge (Essential Criteria):
1. AAT qualified, QBE or part qualified ACA/ACCA.
2. Audit experience.
3. Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
Qualifications/Knowledge (Desirable Criteria):
1. 2+ years' experience working within a practice.
2. Good Standard of education (A levels or equivalent).
International candidates will be required to evidence equivalent technical knowledge/qualifications obtained in your home country.
Skills (Essential Criteria):
1. Fluent in English and able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills.
2. Ability to manage one's own time, planning workload effectively and efficiently.
3. Demonstrate IT user competence and capability.
4. Practical bookkeeping and data entry experience.
