You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service. Some days, you’ll be based at the Information Point in the ‘core’ visitor area; answering visitor queries, facilitating mobility scooter bookings, and completing National Trust membership applications. Other days, you’ll carry our ‘Rover’ duties; this is a ‘mobile engagement’ role involving interacting with visitors who are parked in the wider-parkland, outside of Clumber Park’s designated parking areas – primarily along the verges of Lime Tree Avenue. You’ll engage with visitors parked in these areas to communicate our conservation message, and update them on ongoing changes to parking and access. You'll provide mobile ‘welfare’ support to your fellow Welcome & Service Assistants who are positioned at our remote Welcome Points - facilitating comfort/lunch breaks throughout the day and operational support during busier spells. You'll occasionally support in the delivery of events at times throughout the year, including some car-parking duties. Working within the wider portfolio team of staff and volunteers you'll deliver outstanding visitor service. You'll also support across the property/portfolio when required.
