Our client is seeking talented Clinical Negligence Solicitors (Grade A, B and C) to join their experienced and growing team across one of their four office locations. This is an opportunity to independently manage a variety of clinical negligence cases, ensuring they are handled with a proactive, client-focused, and commercially aware approach. What You'll Do:
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload while providing support and guidance to your team. You will contribute to proactive case management across the team while supporting your Team Leader in achieving financial and performance targets.
1. Contribute to proactive and commercial case management
2. Support the Team Leader/Head of Department in ensuring the delivery of the team’s financial and performance KPIs
3. Discuss and agree case tactics and planning with the Team Leader/Head of Department
4. Identify and drive cases which are ready for LOC, settlement, and service within the team.
5. Coordinate the progression of cases with all internal and external parties
6. Draft legal documentation including LOC, letters of instruction
7. Negotiate settlement and issue and service proceedings if required.
8. Advise the team on any technical issues arising from their cases with support from Team Leader/Head of Department.
What You Bring:
The ideal candidate for this Clinical Negligence Solicitor role will bring recent experience handling a caseload working in Clinical Negligence. In addition you will also bring:
1. Excellent communication skills and ability to empathise with clients during what is a difficult time in their personal lives
2. Excellent organisational and time management skills
3. Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
4. Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines.
