The Role: A fantastic and unique opportunity to join a people-focused, growing digital team across both B2B and B2C markets as a Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Developer.
We are looking for a skilled CRO Developer to join our dynamic team to help optimise our digital experiences and increase key digital metrics. You will work closely with fellow CRO Developers, UX/UI designers, Digital Merchandisers, and Product Owners to implement A/B tests, improve website & app performance, and enhance user experience using industry-standard Mutli-Variant Testing (MVT) tools.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their digital and e-commerce skills and is passionate about delivering seamless customer experiences.
Day to day, you will be fundamental in delivering a variety of multivariate tests to create best-in-class customer journeys across the Highbourne group websites and app.
You will be applying a test and learn approach, using market-leading MVT, insight and analytics tools to understand customer behaviour and to optimise digital journeys for our trade and consumer audiences. You will use creative thinking alongside your analytical findings to build our test backlog and deliver the best digital solutions for our customers.
This role offers the opportunity of flexibility of predominantly working from home, but you should be within a commutable distance of our offices in Crick, Northamptonshire, for infrequent visits.
Key Responsibilities Using a well-known MVT tool to deliver engaging customer experiences across our websites using front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Learning how to review the current UX and customer behavior so youll understand how to better optimise our sites digital experience
Testing our sites in different web browsers to understand their usability and then debugging any issues
Understanding the results of online testing and experiments and communicating recommendations to the team

Skills and competencies Experience in web development, front-end development, or CRO-related roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
CRO Tools: Experience with A/B testing platforms (Monetate, Optimizely, Google Optimise, VWO, etc.).
Analytics Tools: Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4/360), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and event tracking.
SEO & UX Knowledge: Understanding of user experience, website performance, and SEO best practices.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and optimise workflows.
Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with fellow CRO developers and stakeholders working in design, marketing, and product teams.
Experience with React.js and TypeScript would be advantageous, however, it is not essential, and on-the-job training would be provided
