As a growing eCommerce business, we're looking to strengthen our Sales Team with a dynamic, results-driven Sales Operations Coordinator, who shares our enthusiasm and commitment.
Role Overview:
The Sales Operations Coordinator is a vital member of the sales team, responsible for driving revenue, managing key accounts, and organising events to showcase our ethically produced products. With a strong focus on initiative and energy, this role will require a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has exceptional organisational and people skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Account Management:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for Sales enquiries and manage existing key accounts.
2. Respond to incoming calls and emails in a clear, accurate, and professional manner.
3. Provide quotes to customers, manage orders, and ensure timely delivery.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and maximise sales opportunities.
Sales Prospecting & New Business Development:
1. Identify and prospect new B2B customers and wholesale/retail leads.
2. Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to convert leads and achieve sales targets.
3. Develop and maintain a database of prospects and analyse sales performance.
Event Management & Networking:
1. Attend and assist in organising events alongside the Brand team to showcase Pipers Farm products.
2. Develop relationships with event organizers and explore new event opportunities to support business growth.
3. Coordinate internal efforts with Marketing and Brand teams to ensure all event materials and promotions are in place.
Sales Target Achievement:
1. Manage a personal sales target and actively contribute to the overall sales goals of the company.
2. Regularly report on performance and progress against targets.
Collaboration & Cross-department Communication:
1. Work closely with other departments, including Production and Marketing, to ensure seamless communication and execution of sales strategies.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a sales, customer service, or administration role, preferably in a fast-paced or eCommerce environment.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong telephone manner.
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
4. Confidence in managing customer relationships and securing new business.
5. A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to work hard and go the extra mile.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and colleagues.
7. A proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
8. Experience with event coordination and networking is a plus.
