They’re a long established business with a superb reputation based on quality and consistent service. Management are focussed on continual improvement and ensuringthat every member of the team has an opportunity to progress and develop in their roles. With a turnover exceeding £5M, they are primed for further expansion and seek to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to assist in this business growth. With the current incumbent due to retire, there is a perfect opportunity to have an extensive hand over, as well as have the opportunity to put your own stamp on the department when you take the reins.
The role:
* Responsibility for all financial management and to maintain robust internal controls
* Management of a small team including an experienced assistant accountant
* Production of weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports
* Ensure compliance to all relevant reporting standards
* Work with heads of departments to prepare/ monitor budgets
* Management of cashflow and forecasting
* Preparation of financial statements
We are looking for candidates:
* with a background of working for fast paced organisations
* who are ideally part/fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
* with strong interpersonal and management skills
* who are detail orientated
