Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are excited to partner with a leading name in the timber manufacturing industry for the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional to join a dynamic and growing team, working with state-of-the-art equipment in a highly automated production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform both reactive and proactive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
Ensure routine maintenance schedules are completed on time and in accordance with safety standards.
Fault find, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on site equipment, including PLCs, servo drives, and line automation systems.
Participate in continuous improvement activities, contributing to plant efficiency.
Support the installation of new equipment and assist with production line overhauls.
Complete work permits and ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Time-served, multi-skilled maintenance engineer
18th Edition wiring regulations ideally
Strong experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, and automation systems is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
