Summary of Position:
Growing the new corporate client base is critical to the business, ensuring we have a good baseline of key corporate clients to quickly stabilise and dial into any new building. This will reduce the reliance on OTAs and a few large clients and enhance margins.
Just getting a client to agree to use Native as part of their accommodation strategy is just the start. We are competing with hotels on every search, so it is important to ensure Native is front of mind.
The Sales Researcher/Coordinator will be a key support for the Sales Team. They must have the ability to work independently, be highly self-motivated, have both strong communication and organisational skills, plus demonstrate a certain level of Sales Skills.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Weve summarised here some of the day to day functions of the role:
Business development
First line of support to Head of Sales is sales capacity
Lead the business on all new lead generation activities
To build relationships with all clients and agents of the Hotel
To conduct in-house site visits and pass on leads/enquires to ensure followed up as necessary
Research all new potential corporate partners for Native based on industries
Log all new leads in HubSpot and report monthly
Ensure correct lead is passed to the Head of Sales / Sales Manager and make sure there is no duplication of activity with individual clients
Research projects for new openings = Production via The Knowledge, AGENCY 360
Through market research, google, LinkedIn, ITM and contact acquisition create new leads for the Sales Team
Working with Marketing to create innovative and interesting mail campaigns to drive new leads in target market sectors
Work with Sales and Revenue to identify and plan for major corporate events that may impact the city and drive new business
Set up and review google alerts and twitter feeds for relevant local competitor information add to Eyes and Ears section of the 5:15 weekly report
Review the Arrival / VIP lists and check for any Sales related guests. Liaise with the Sales Team on property ops about delivering Welcome note/gift from the relevant Head of Sales | Sales Manager

Update HubSpot to track deal status
To maintain and co-ordinate all Sales filing systems and trace systems on Hub Spot
Create and maintain the Sales Team monthly cost tracker (budget for trade shows| Corp gifts | etc) and review against all expenditure
Document actions and manage activities from the weekly sales review
To maintain the library of associations memberships etc
Prepare Gift vouchers when required and monitor database of gift vouchers spreadsheet
Create a new corporate account filing system and manage, save any updates
Merge all databases from Hub Spot to one sales database working with Marketing
Account Management
Monthly and Weekly reporting through power BI of all corporate, consortia, agent production
Maintain the client database and files
To represent the Hotel and the Group at in-house ad external exhibitions, trade shows
Attend client roadshows to promote native with the relevant Regional Sales Manager
Maintenance of the Manchester and local area events diary
Meeting and Events: to assist with the handling of the meeting and work with the Events Manager for On Site Inspections
Key contact for all photo shoots/filming, communicating all relevant details to the Team
(Larger F&B and public spaces must go through Head of Marketing and Event Manager) complete form and liaise with the relevant Ops Manager and handover details
Sales collateral Audit and review sales collateral requirements per property what collateral is needed for each activation
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to manage corporate customers and key bookers with confidence
To have complete operational knowledge of the Hotel and surrounding area, including services and facilities provided, prices charged, geographical and location information and local attraction details
Have strong reporting and insight experience
Strong insight in business travel, trends, travel policy & compliance and how to influence policy to drive incremental business
Be aware of competitor pricing, understand the dynamics of the local market
Results orientated and able to own the customer, delivering insights into business risks and opportunities to impact the growth within the corporate portfolio
Analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights
Commercially astute and highly numerate
Excellent communication skills
Thrives in a fast moving, high growth commercial environment
Enthusiastic, energetic, highly motivated and adaptable to change

To be fully aware of and adhere to the health and safety regulations concerning your employment and promote a safe environment for yourself, your colleagues and our guests.
To be aware of the departmental risk assessments and their importance in accident/incident prevention. To discuss with managers any reviews, especially after an accident has occurred.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene, liquor licensing, disability, and employment laws.
Additional Requirements:
Due to nature of our business employees must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes shifts during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Native is a fast-growing business and other sites will come on board. Flexibility will be required in supporting the opening and setting up of new sites and new teams. You may be required to travel to different Native properties.
