Overall aim of the job: As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring that guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will be responsible for cleaning, replenishing supplies, and preparing rooms for new arrivals, ensuring guests experience a comfortable and welcoming stay. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly contribute to the overall guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. Please note, West Court Retreat is not on a public transport route, so please consider necessary travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces. Replenish toiletries, towels, linens, and other guest amenities. Ensure rooms meet cleanliness and safety standards before guest check-in. Respond promptly to requests for additional items like pillows or toiletries. Report any room maintenance issues or damages. Respond promptly to housekeeping requests, especially during busy periods. Interact professionally with guests, addressing their needs efficiently. Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Clean public areas as needed and perform additional cleaning tasks as required.
