Overview
Expleo is a leading Global Engineering Services Provider with UK presence in 10 locations. We are seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer to work with our client at their site in Stevenage delivering support to analogue and electro-mechanical design solutions. Ideally, the successful candidate will have technical lead experience.
We are looking for an energetic and driven engineer with broad expertise, however of particular interest would be candidates with military and or aerospace experience.
This role represents a great opportunity to work within a multi-discipline team, contributing to the security of the UK and our allies. There will be the opportunity to visit/work at the client's Bolton facility.
Responsibilities
1. Reviewing design technologies and performing trade-off studies.
2. Schematic capture, simulation and worst-case circuit analysis.
3. Design & development.
4. Systems engineering.
5. High-speed digital network.
6. Requirements development.
7. Solutions focus for digital network issues.
8. Verification and validation.
9. Systems reviews.
10. Integrating systems in a network.
Qualifications
1. Engineering Degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
Essential skills
1. Experience working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
2. Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
3. Good communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
4. In-depth circuit knowledge/analysis fault finding.
5. SciCAD.
6. Mathcad.
7. MS Office.
8. LTspice.
