Client Details Our client is a global manufacturing company with operations based in Warrington Description A Critical Leadership Position within the business responsible for designing & driving the Divisional Lean Program and the deployment at the Warrington Site. The position is an essential element of a Strategic Site Leadership team. The role proactively drives & supports the Site Leadership Team to deploy the Lean program across functional areas transforming the site standards, processes, capability & performance. The Continuous Improvement Leader will facilitate Strategy Deployment, Project Management and Daily Performance Management processes. They will coach functional heads and their team members in lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, 5S, TPM, SMED, TIMWOOD, Problem Solving. to ensure the site has the organisational capability to achieve strategic goals of the business. They can demonstrate strong direct & indirect leadership skills which drive sustainable improvements across all operational areas Key Responsibilities · Setting Lean Conversion Strategy for the Site · Designing & Aligning on Divisional Framework & Processes for Lean projects · Design & Standardisation of Site Strategy Review Process (Hoshin Kanri), Project Management Process (Focused Improvement) and Daily Performance Management Process (Daily Kaizen) · Ensuring the key elements of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People are embedded in Lean processes and tools · Training - educating and coaching lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, 5S, TPM, SMED etc… to relevant colleagues across all levels. · Value Stream Analysis - facilitating effective cross functional teams to create 'Current State Maps' and develop 'Future State Maps' to minimise 'Waste' across the whole site. · Problem Solving - supporting colleagues at all levels to ensure that they are competent in appropriate problem solving tools to ensure that we solve the problem to root cause to avoid repetition. · Key Driver of Standardisation of Improvements & Process Confirmation Standards. · Sharing Best Practice - sharing best practice initiatives across the site/division. · Standardisation - ensure that all lean tools deployed are standardised across the site and where applicable are in line with divisional standards. · Continuous Improvement - supporting functional heads in 'daily kaizen' continuous improvement activity · In line with the divisional operations team purpose: 1.
